2026 Singlefile Single Vineyard Mount Barker Riesling

The Moore River riesling vineyard was established in 1978, making it one of the most mature vineyards in the Great Southern. This Mount Barker site is dry grown, and consistently provides excellent growing conditions for dry riesling.

The 2026 season delivered consistent temperatures with very little rain over the growing period, resulting in a slightly earlier than usual harvest. The conditions were ideal for premium Great Southern riesling, producing fruit with vibrant varietal character.

The fruit was handpicked and whole-bunch pressed on 12 March 2026. The primary focus in the winery was to preserve the fruit’s delicate varietal flavours and aromas. The juice was cold settled and fermented at a temperature of 14°C. It was then left to rest until preparation for bottling in early July 2026.
