The colour is bright and pale gold, and the wine is highly perfumed with classic Great Southern riesling characters of apple blossom, lemony citrus, and wet river stone mineral aromas. Flavours on the palate are led by lime juice and lemon pith, with juicy Granny Smith apple, some subtle herbal notes, and clean minerality. The wine shows an elegant, softly textured mouthfeel. This is a dry styled riesling which finishes cleanly, with mouthwatering acidity and a lingering fruit presence. The wine will evolve with time in the bottle, developing pronounced minerality and richness, while retaining refreshing acidity. A great match for spicy Asian cuisine or delicate seafood.
