A medium bodied pinot noir with lifted aromas of dark cherry and cranberry, soft dark florals and spice, with subtle minerality. The red fruit and spice characters follow through prominently on the palate, with some support from oak, which presents in the background, and subtle herbal notes. The wine has a softly textured mouth feel with delicate, smooth tannins and bright natural acidity, offering good length of flavour and a dry finish. It is well suited to complement light game dishes or roast pork, and cellaring will encourage development of further earthy complexity.
