2024 Singlefile Single Vineyard Frankland River Clément V
The 2024 vintage of the Clément V is mataro (58%), grenache (21%) and shiraz (21%). The wine has alluring aromatics of plum and soft dark florals, supported by savoury ‘game’ elements and subtle smokiness. The palate is plush and juicy, offering flavours of black cherry, plum and berry jam with notes of peppery spice and leather. Smoothly textured with fine-grained, chewy tannins, this is a medium bodied red wine that is well suited to be enjoyed with food. In its youth, we suggest decanting to best reveal the wine’s character.
