Singlefile Wines

Four Singlefile wines featured in Ray Jordan's Top 100 Reds 2025

We are delighted to share that four wines from our collection have been recognised in Ray Jordan’s annual Top 100 Reds list — a showcase of the year’s most impressive Australian red wine releases.

From more than 550 wines tasted, all delivering outstanding value under a $50 price ceiling, Ray remarked: “Through the various price points, we've got exceptional wines that are showing just how good Australian red winemaking is currently.”

Having our wines celebrated alongside so many accomplished producers across the country is an honour. It reflects the quality of Great Southern fruit and the skill, care, and dedication of our winemaking team. With over forty years in the industry, and more than two decades compiling the Top 100 Reds list, Ray is one of Western Australia’s most respected wine journalists. His highly anticipated annual line-up this year includes wines from our Single Vineyard, Small Batch and Great Southern collections.

2023 Singlefile Single Vineyard Frankland River Cabernet Sauvignon
96 points
Now firmly established as one of the finest producers in WA, this is an elegant example of Frankland cabernet in a truly wonderful year. Comes off the Riversdale Vineyard, which supplies so much fruit to some of the best wines in the state. It's got it all—the power, the finesse, the length, the elegance—and it's got that Frankland richness that's deep within a really beautiful wine.

2024 Singlefile Small Batch Gamay
95 points
A surprise from this warm vintage, and one of the most enjoyable wines. Elements of Beaujolais with more palate weight and depth. An excellent wine of great poise and class. It has such a beautiful mouthfeel after the exotic perfumed notes get you excited from the get-go.

2024 Singlefile Single Vineyard Porongurup Pinot Noir
93 points
This shows what can be achieved in even warmer vintages. This light to medium-bodied wine has a lovely textural feel on the palate, with lifted aromas of cherry and raspberry, along with a subtle spiciness. A warm, truffly character runs deep into the palate, and the finish is impeccably balanced. It's a polished expression of pinot noir from this region.
Pre-Release - Available in Top 100 Collection

2024 Singlefile Great Southern Tempranillo
93 points
The striking feature of this Great Southern-sourced tempranillo is its brightness and energy, bursting with lively red fruits and a fleshy, slightly opulent, palate with juicy ripe red fruits. There's a slightly spicy, dark, chocolate-glazed cherry character as well.
