Small Batch Collection
From time to time we see small parcels of fruit that stand out in the vineyard or winery and this project gives us the opportunity to give these wines their own voice.
This wine is well suited to complement light, fresh seafood dishes. Drink now or allow this to continue to develop in the bottle for 6+ years.
This wine was produced in the traditional style of the Pessac-Léognan in the Graves region of Bordeaux. The selected fruit went to 100% new oak for five months which added texture, complexity and subtle spice flavours.
A fuller bodied style pinot with lifted aromas of forest berries, earthiness, spice and funk. These characters follow through on the palate with a medium weight and textured mouth feel with fine tannins and a long finish. This wine is well suited to complement red meat dishes especially duck. Drink now or allow this to continue to develop in the bottle for 15+ years.
A light refreshing red wine that displays bright confected red cherry flavours and a touch of orange peel (negroni) and subtle spices. The wine has beautiful silky tannins on the palette. Think Beaujolais, think fun with subtle complexity. Even think about chilling in summer. Importantly, don’t overthink it!
A richer styled Grenache with floral aromas of violets, dark berries and subtle spices. These characters follow through on the palate which has a nice plush mouth feel with medium weight and subtle fine tannins and a long flavoursome finish. A wine to be enjoyed with fine food.
