2008 Unwooded Chardonnay Tasting Notes

100% Chardonnay

Colour:

Pale to mid straw, brilliant clarity.

Aroma:

Fresh aromatic nose of stonefruit characters that are dominated by peaches and nectarines. Citrus tones add some complexity.

Palate:

The palate is rich and, surprisingly mouthfilling with a freshness and vibrancy displaying stone fruits, melons and tropical notes. The wine has a rich, textured mid palate with well balanced acidity giving a clean, long finish.

Alcohol:

12.8%

Fined with skim milk and fish products and traces may remain. Contains sulphites. Approx. 7.6 standard drinks.
